I have been to other clinics and this is by far the best one. They are friendly, helpful and care about the people that go their. I especially like Sam.. She always welcomes you with a smile.
Best counseling. You are treated like you matter. And you will meet so many ppl like you. It's a ,
Great staff. Higher than normal sobriety rate. Lower turn over. Lots of kids because the sober patients have custody and they take Medicaid.
I love this clinic. The staff is great. They are quick and convenient. Truly seem to care about getting you better. I know my life has changed so much since I've started coming here. All for the better. Thank you new hope!
I have had some pretty serious stuff going on in my life lately and i think every one of the counselors have pulled me aside to make sure i am okay. That shows me that there is true compassion in there facility. I just wanted to say thank you. Now i am aware i am not alone and have someone to turn to. It has already helped termindiously with my situation. So i thank all the staff at mesa new hope!!
I went to this clinic for almost 3 years, they helped me get off pain killers when suboxone didn't work. They take AHCCCS. Recommended!
The staff at New Hope is very caring, something I didn't find at other clinics. I highly recommend them, they will make sure you are treated well!
First of all, staff really is great. Front desk lady Sam gets talked bad about way more than she deserves. They all have to deal people coming in all morning yelling at them, begging for a spot or for preferential treatment, passing out from xanax, lots of really frustrating behavior that I really don't blame the staff for seeming a little annoyed about. But they stay very calm and do their job the best that the patients will allow them to. If you want the help, they are more than accommodating enough to provide for you the resources you need. What I learned about this program is if you don't desperately want to change your life, then no one is going to make it happen for you, ESPECIALLY not at a methadone clinic! The staff only have do much time or patience to deal with patients that are only there to bridge their high so they won't get sick. Oh yeah, and if you go here and are one of the people who leaves used syringes in the parking lot, you are the reason the police sit outside the clinic and scan everybodies cars. Which isn't right. But that's probably why it happens.
I love the owner who runs this place, she truly wants sobriety for every single person, even if they don't go to that clinic. The doctor, I personally don't care for, only because he doesn't understand addiction, in his eyes we will all be junkies till the end. That is something as a person wanting sobriety will figure out, who cares what that small-minded money hungry doctor thinks, his mind he wants you on methadone Forever. Don't let them do that, you should never let them decide when your ready to get off this detox assistance. If they don't then speak to other doctors, because I went down 10mg/Weekly and was fine. I wasn't using anything either. It's possible, just don't let this Dr.Shotton put his ties on you, and chose your recovery. He is not anyone you will know once you finish your program here, he isn't here to help anyone. I had to look past that controlling, psychopath myself, so I could have a sober life. I've seen way too many walk away from sobriety because Dr.Shotton, but anyone out there struggling remember he is not anyone to you, he won't be around when this clinic is gone, hopefully they fire him before anyone else is harmed by him. But if not, just stay clear. The doctor before him was Amazing tho, Dr. Ortiz, such a saint. He deserves a huge thank you for all the people be has saved. I have been here before, failed, second time on methadone and this Dr. SHOTTON has changed the game, it you want to be sober he will make u leave to get it. He only wants to control everyone, because we're all addicts and out of control, so watch your 6 around him!
It's great I'm in and out in less then 5 min and the stAff is awesome.
New hope is a great place for help with opiate addiction. They cannot do the work for you. You have to truly want to get clean and as long as you do then this program WILL work for you. If you treat the staff with respect and are not rude to them then your experience will be fine. If they see that you really want help and are really trying (which they can tell who's really trying to better themselves) then they will go the extra mile to help you. I've been there for almost 4yrs now and I knew going in that it wasn't going to be a quick process and I chose to take my time with it and that is what allowed me to get on my feet. I was homeless when I first started going and didn't have a job and now I'm working full time and have my own apartment. Methadone maintenance allows you to focus on yourself and to get on your feet. The way it works is once you are at a stable dose it will hold you over all day and it keeps your mind off of using and you aren't constantly stressed about how your going to get more drugs. Also the methadone basically fills your receptors so that when you try to use heroin or pills they won't be affective because it doesn't allow the drugs into your receptors. Anyways I just wanted to write this review for new hope because it is a great program as long as you are willing to work hard..
One of the best (if not THE best) clinics in the valley. Fantastic, friendly counselors and nurses. Everyone there truly cares about your recovery and will bend over backwards to help you. They will go out of their way to work with you if you need something special. If you follow the rules and do what is expected of you, you will find that New Hope will do everything in their power to help you succeed. They improve the quality of your life all around. I have had a fantastic experience since I've been in recovery, and I attribute much of that to the staff at New Hope.
They don't give up on you....
New Hope basically saved my life. Without this place, I would still be on drugs, and a total loser. Yes the place has a lot of terrible, worthless human beings there. Who still try to sell drugs, and use drugs. But I assume every clinic is like that. People shouldn't complain about the staff, because they're amazing. They're only rude to people who deserve it, and that are up to no good. Basically if you're trying to get clean, they will help you. Sometimes the wait is long, but hey it's not a big deal. It all depends on what time you get there.
The staff is so friendly, it's like going to your family's house every day. Sobriety takes work, and they're willing to provide the tools you'll need for your success in being and staying sober.
The new hope program is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me. If you truly don't want to use again you don't have too. You of course must do the work, but if you a problem with opiates then you will not ever have to use again. It is also approved by DCS and probation and any of place that you might be dealing with. The people are super nice and helpful ❤️🙏
