This place completely changed my life and gave me a purpose that I had been so desperately searching for
I spent 28 days at CVH and it was one of the best experiences of my life. As odd as it sounds....I didn’t want to leave. This place is the place to go if you want to get and stay clean.
A great place to take a family member that is in need of help.
Chandler valley hope saved my life. I checked into chandler valley hope in January of 2015 a week after cremating my husband who had been murdered in front of me and my son during a home invasion and it was the best decision I have ever made from the therapists to the maintenance staff everyone genuinely cared about your recovery and well being I owe my life to this place going on 4 years sober and I don’t plan on relapse anytime soon.
CVH Alumni here. This place is amazing. If you are truly ready to get sober and work the program then this is the place to go. You walk into this place and can tell that the staff genuinely care and want to help whenever they can. If you are serious about it, get to programs on time, take notes in lectures and participate in small group. And when you leave you have to take the tools with you and DO the work. If you get loaded again it's not the programs fault, it's your fault that you were not ready to take your soberity seriously.
Couldn't have chosen a better place or better people. Staff is amazing, and I continue to feel supported in my recovery.
CVH alumni here. If you are thinking about getting sober and need a place to get your mind right for 30 days, Chandler Valley Hope is where you need to be. The program is 12 step based and will give you the knowledge on how to live a clean and sober life once you graduate. The nursing staff and counselors are friendly and knowledgeable and actually care about your recovery. Everyone from the cooks that cook your food to the administration staff are their to see you succeed and genuinely care. Definitely recommended if you need a jump start to your recovery.
I loved the friendly staff n fellow peers.... I want to come back and share my story....

Words cannot describe the way I feel about Chandler Valley Hope. The staff truly cares and enjoys their job, and more importantly believes in what they do. I am forever grateful for the foundation CVH gave me, my life was saved and has changed for the better.
The most helpful and lasting recovery experience in my life.
This place is amazing absolutely stellar . Staff there are not even words to explain how wonderful they are . If u need help is suggest going there .
I couldn't have been happier with my decision to go to Chandler Valley Hope. I've never felt more welcome. The staff is so understanding, and the cook (Marty) will even know you by name and face. He knew my name after a few days. EVERYONE is amazing. They treat you as their equal. The front desk reception is a group of amazing people who love you even if they don't know you. The counsellors are all so interested to understand you, and they take the time to peel the layers. Nursing is great too, they hear you out, still doing what's best for you. And the sense of community is outstanding. There was rarely any actual drama amongst the co-Ed patients, we all got along very well. All there to achieve the same goal. I've relapsed recently and actually intend on going back. I just keep calling waiting for a bed to be available. I HIGHLY recommend CVH to anyone.
I too read some of the negative remarks made. I will not say it did not happen as they say but highly unlikely. Their are those that will blame anyone & everything, but themselves. I went to CVH 20yrs ago straight out of jail. I had tried several times on my own to quit drinking & drugging to no avail. This facility is by far, hands down the very best.. You get out of it what you put into it. The staff cares with all of their being, but have no time to waist on those that are not truly there for help & serious about RECOVERY. You must first being WILLING, then you MUST be brutally Honest with them & yourself. It does work!!! I'm living proof with 20yrs clean & sober. Its through hard & honest work & by God's Grace I found my way back to sanity. Life's still very much an everyday challenge, but I do it one day at a time & sometimes one moment at a time but always turning it over to my Higher Power which I choose to call God. May He Bless you on your journey !
